Our History

The Benson Homeplace Farmhouse has long been a part of Greenwood County history dating back to 1910. As the son of the former owner says "this farm was built on prayer and sweat." The staff of The Old Homeplace still begin each day with prayer.

The old farmhouse is now one of our two main buildings housing up to five residents. We added a new building which can house an additional 10 residents in 1999.
